I would start building a robust solutions practice in the newsroom I work in by making it mandatory that every issue we approach, we must speak or lean towards the angle of how this can be fixed.
I will make it an essential component of how every story is told. There can be multiple views on possible solutions for but at minimum one from a credible voice on the topic to speak to how things can change for the better.
