according to the presentations i had watched so far, using solutions journalism is very vital for many reason:
the solutions journalism stories writing will give the radio or news paper / TV good public reputations and trusted in the audience hearts. there would be solutions to many challenging problems if not all in the society, as such, solutions journalism would be a back born of the media if used professionally .
secondly , it can help the media outlet to generate funding to maintain cost of operation . This is very important for media to keep running . this will also generate revenue through advertising and solutions journalism writing style ; as many NGO and companies seek people attention . for example, writing a solutions journalism stories about gender base violence's in South Sudan and people living with disabilities, will be massively funded by UNPFA AND A LIGHT ORGANIZATION. This will eventually comes along with funding to run the programs on gender equalities promotion .
