The idea is to direct focus to solutions based stories and initiatives as well as to incorporate the essence of solutions based journalism when either pitching, collaborating or executing the story. This may be done by the Journalist themselves, be they newsroom or freelance.
Consequently, newsrooms following the “solutions” ideals are more receptive, generating greater sensitivity in their approach as well to the experiences and limitations of the journalists and their print, online and broadcast media submissions, collaborations, ethics and principles.
