I'm a recent college graduate, about to enter my first full-time journalism role soon. As an emerging reporter just starting out, I think one of the best things I can do to initiate journalism practices in the newsroom is to pitch solutions stories related to the beat I'm assigned. By doing this, I could spur interest in solutions journalism among my editors and colleagues.
