Tradition is a big deal in any organization including newsrooms. The newsrooms have been around for a very long time, and any kind of necessary change is hard to implement because of the simple reasons that people don't like change, people don't want to see their traditions changing. The reality is that change needs to take place in order for a newsroom to grow.
