I found some data visualization data on that that the Pew Research Center created by Paul Taylor and published in April 2014 to show the changing demographics of what he termed The Next America. The focus majority vs minority and aging. The story is that the American population is becoming majority non-white and “a record share is going gray.” The interactive line chart shows the shift from 1960 to 2060 for example for the shift in the demographics by race and ethnicity.
