Hi, everyone!

G1 is the biggest online newspaper from Brazil. It has a great project with Universidade de São Paulo (USP): the Violence Monitor, which is a joint of data organized through graphics for people to unsderstand what are the most dangerous regions in the country and also the most usal crimes in them.

Thank you, Stéfanie Xavier. I went online and skipped to "Projeto mapeia dados de assassinatos mês a mês no Brasil", and was dismayed at the figures I saw for just for the last year. True, some areas had much less but the whole nation rated a solid crimson color due to some States being darker than mere red. That was a most powerful use of simple graphics.
