What ways have you used social media either to find sources or to debunk official versions of events? Or can you share other examples of this that you particularly admire? Or that fell short?

I personally like investigating with a lot of open sources, when I wrote about the seven of October of 2023 and the actions of the israelí army I was surprised for the lack of information in the media; for that I viewed the social meda accounts of the IDF, the drones attacks videos and more.
I think that social media is a very useful tool.
i use goggle to research on the person,people closer to him like friends and confidants
